About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Developer to join our dynamic team at Scot Lewis Associates Limited. As a key member of our development process, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of code quality while driving technical enhancements within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality C++ software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical enhancements
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ (v17)
  • Experience with build automation tools like Jenkins
  • Solid understanding of API design principles using SOAP and REST
  • Familiarity with networking concepts
  • Comfortable working across multiple platforms: Windows, Linux, and Web
  • Expertise in designing concurrency, scalability, and fault-tolerant systems for real-time applications
  • Proficient in debugging and diagnostics
  • Experience with source control systems, particularly GIT
  • Knowledge of automated testing techniques
  • Strong command of the Linux operating system
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with relational database management systems, ideally Oracle and/or SQL Server
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud environments
