The Role: Midweight Designer

We're seeking a talented and driven Midweight Designer to join our dynamic team in London. You'll play a vital role in supporting creative and design leads across a diverse range of projects, ensuring that every visual element we produce is both aesthetically compelling and strategically aligned with our clients' goals.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Execute all stages of the visual design process, from initial concept development to final delivery.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout principles, and platform-specific behaviors across digital devices.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create assets for various creative disciplines, including mobile, web, brand communications, and content.
  • Transform written or sketched concepts into polished designs that effectively communicate ideas.
  • Present your design solutions clearly and confidently to both internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Refine and adapt designs based on feedback, ensuring a cohesive and impactful final product.
  • Contribute to the creation of campaign assets such as display ads, social media graphics, banners, and infographics.
  • Design and layout compelling presentation decks that effectively convey key messages.
  • Conduct competitor research to inform design decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Stay abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, bringing innovative ideas to enhance our digital presence.

Your Profile:

  • Proven experience as an all-rounder Designer (Digital) for 2-3 years.
  • Agency experience and a strong understanding of working within cross-discipline digital teams.
  • A self-starter with a positive outlook and a passion for design.
  • Previous digital design experience, including a working knowledge of mobile-first and responsive design principles across UI design.
  • A clear understanding of usability, user-centered design, and web standards.
  • The ability to think across different media – digital, print, motion.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to working with others on shared projects.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to effectively prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and a working knowledge of Figma.
  • A compelling portfolio demonstrating a diverse design background, showcasing strong design work across various channels.
