We are excited to announce that Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is expanding its Mental Health Support Team across various regions, and we are seeking dedicated individuals to join us in this initiative.

This role is particularly suited for qualified EMHPs looking to advance their careers within a Mental Health Support Team. Candidates will be expected to complete a postgraduate certificate in Clinical Supervision of Low Intensity Psychological Therapies in Educational Settings.

Main Responsibilities

As part of the Mental Health Support Team, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing both case management and clinical skills supervision to EMHPs.
  • Managing a small caseload of young individuals, conducting clinical assessments and delivering low-intensity interventions.
  • Assisting in the triage and allocation of referrals in accordance with established protocols.
  • Offering guidance and self-help resources, or referring to other services when necessary.
  • Supporting EMHP trainees through role modeling and aiding in the self-management of mental health recovery.
  • Engaging in Whole School Approach initiatives to promote mental well-being within educational settings.

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • Post Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity Supervision or a commitment to complete this course.
  • Relevant qualifications in Brief Evidence-Based Interventions for Children and Young People.

Experience

  • Experience in community mental health or educational settings.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload.

Knowledge

  • Understanding of evidence-based low-intensity interventions.
  • Awareness of mental health support within educational environments.
