Travel Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Travel Assistant to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Travel Operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of business travel arrangements for our employees and partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and track outstanding hotel invoices, ensuring timely payment and resolving any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the Travel Operations & Security Manager to resolve issues with unresponsive hotels or missing invoices.
- Assist with coordinating hotel payments via bank transfer, working closely with the payments team and travel arrangers.
- Support the Travel Team in cataloguing insurance claims related to business travel bookings.
- Monitor travel and home hubs bookings to ensure compliance with corporate travel policies.
- Identify and report any out-of-policy bookings to the relevant Lead Partners.
- Conduct manual monitoring of travel to high-risk locations, assisting with securing ground transportation and vendor management activities.
- Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Previous experience arranging travel for a large organization.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- Ability to multitask, handling competing requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible approach, with a willingness to contribute to the wider team.
