Key Responsibilities- Recruit and support a diverse team of volunteers, ensuring they are fully integrated into the team and feel valued and supported.
- Build relationships with local communities and partners, promoting the benefits of volunteering and raising awareness of our centre and Blue Cross.
- Work closely with Centre Managers and Assistant Managers to ensure our volunteers are equipped to make a positive impact.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase volunteer engagement and retention, ensuring our volunteers feel motivated and empowered to make a difference.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless volunteer experience, from recruitment to placement and beyond.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to promote the work of Blue Cross and the benefits of volunteering to a range of external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and focused, with a creative and forward-thinking approach to volunteering.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with people at all levels, with a passion for ensuring volunteers have the right opportunities to thrive in their roles.

- High standards of verbal and written communication.

- Good interviewing and recruitment skills.
- An awareness of health and safety legislation.
- Current full driving licence.
- Ability to demonstrate, understand, and apply our Blue Cross values.
