About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Smart Meter Installation Specialist to join our team at Octopus Energy. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining smart meters in domestic properties, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain smart meters in domestic properties, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customers are satisfied with the installation and operation of their smart meters.
  • Work collaboratively with our office team to resolve any issues or concerns related to smart meter installations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • MOCoPA - at least 1ph WC
  • Gas Safe – CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in domestic dual-fuel metering
  • The ability to use a handheld terminal
  • A flexible working approach
  • Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)
