About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our Dermatology team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Medical Secretary, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinicians and administrative staff in achieving national and local targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Dermatology team, including typing and PTL work.
  • Manage patient pathways, including booking appointments and chasing results.
  • Support with other administrative roles, including patient validation and appointment management.
  • Develop effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2 years previous administration experience.
  • Team working experience of dealing with the public.
  • Essential skills include excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Desirable skills include experience of NHS/Health Care environment and waiting list administration.
