Astute's Renewables Team is partnering with a dynamic and forward-thinking business in the UK's Anaerobic Digestion sector. This company is a leader in generating renewable energy from the off-take of distilling and brewing processes, with sustainability at its core.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Process Operations Manager / Leader to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about renewable energy and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure site teams are fully trained, competent, and have a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Work alongside the Site Leader to deliver operations across a new CO2 plant.
  • Monthly and ongoing reporting of KPIs, biogas yields, efficiencies, and outputs.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs on site, as well as all training documentation.
  • Ensure staff are taking personal development seriously and meeting objectives.
  • Maintain adherence to COSHH and educate the team on its importance.
  • Identify areas for improvement through operational plans and gap analysis.
  • Be responsible for Legionella control and HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP on site.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in an engineering field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • UK driving license.
