Job Summary:

The Cloud Operations Lead at AllPoints Fibre is a key member of our Systems Engineering team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining tools and infrastructure to support rapid and reliable software development and deployment. This role will collaborate closely with Development Lead, Solution Architects, Security practitioners, and Product Owners to define and implement our transformation roadmap and necessary infrastructure and cloud environments for lasting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure and tools to support software development and deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement transformation roadmap
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Manage database migrations and ensure database uptime and performance
  • Implement logging and monitoring using Sentry
  • Manage identity and access management using Auth0
  • Implement microservice architecture and caching using Redis
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technology developments

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with cloud infrastructure and tools, including AWS and Terraform
  • Experience with database management, including MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Linux administration and GitHub
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers
