Nursery Practitioner Role

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well-established nursery setting in Surrey, as a Nursery Practitioner. Our nursery is situated close to West Byfleet, offering a fantastic outdoor play space, a dedicated baby garden, and an indoor soft-play room. We are easily accessible by train and bus, making it convenient for parents to drop off and pick up their children.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement engaging and purposeful experiences that cater to the children's age and developmental stage.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and carers, encouraging their involvement in the nursery and their child's education.
- Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS, staying up-to-date with regulatory requirements.
- Regularly review and update children's care plans, addressing medical needs and dietary requirements, and informing management of any changes.
- Observe, support, and extend children's development, maintaining accurate and detailed learning journals.
- Embrace a culture of self-evaluation and continuous improvement, engaging in ongoing learning and professional development.
- Hold a full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification.
- Be fluent in written and spoken English.
- Have experience working within an Early Years setting.
- Have knowledge of the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
