About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apprenticeship Manager to join our team at Barking & Dagenham College. As an Apprenticeship Manager, you will play a key role in the operational leadership and management of our Apprenticeship programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Monitor the design of the curriculum to ensure that apprenticeship standards, knowledge, skills, and behaviors are fully planned and implemented.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and monitor the quality of planning and teaching resources to deliver high-quality training, including course outlines, schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment requirements.
  • Program Delivery: Support and monitor the delivery of the standard implementation plan to meet planned starts, including End Point Assessment (EPA) systems and processes.
  • Progress Monitoring: Agree and implement milestones for progress monitoring and EPA gateway on e-portfolio, promoting and supporting the development and effective application of EPA planning processes and systems.
  • Learner Experience: Monitor the quality of program delivery to achieve an outstanding learner experience and high outcomes.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Cert Ed/PGCE or relevant teaching/training qualification, degree or equivalent qualification, and appropriate Level 3 subject specialism.
  • Experience: Demonstrable experience of leading teams and individuals, including staff development and mentoring, experience of working to the Common Inspection Framework, and experience of liaison with awarding bodies.
