Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) Job Opportunity

Location: HMP Coldingley

Salary: £33,268 per annum - plus 5% extra for working shifts

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) to join our team at HMP Coldingley, a category C adult male prison. As a member of our Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the prison.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out plumbing and mechanical maintenance tasks to ensure the prison's facilities are safe and functional.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from various trades to achieve common goals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation.
