Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Premier Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in the Southwest on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design engineering and experience working in a start-up or small company environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop mechanical components and systems using 3D CAD software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets manufacturing and quality requirements
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals
- Contribute to the growth and development of the design engineering team
- Liaise with manufacturing providers to ensure smooth production processes
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and design software
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Full UK driving license
