Senior Financial Accountant

This position provides an outstanding opportunity within a vibrant and growing team, engaging with a diverse clientele that requires technical expertise. You will work collaboratively within a team setting, coordinating with audit and tax departments, as well as external auditors, to ensure the timely completion of projects while meeting client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective communication with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries efficiently.
- Prepare financial statements for medium-sized enterprises, consolidated financial statements, and LLPs using the firm's designated software applications, with minimal review points.
- Develop business tax computations, including adjustments for enhanced expenditures and loans to participators.
- Assist junior team members in completing assignments that form part of the consolidated financial statements.
- Adhere to established timelines agreed upon by the audit team, maintaining regular communication to ensure both internal and external deliverables are met.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role within a practice environment.
- Qualified as CA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent (first-time passes preferred).
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications - Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK Financial Reporting Standards.
- Current awareness of changes in basic tax legislation.
- Solid understanding of accounting standards and business tax compliance.
- Enthusiasm for acquiring new skills and supporting less experienced team members.
- Proactive 'can-do' attitude with meticulous attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
