Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at The Laurels, a pioneering national provider of complex care services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation care to patients with complex speech, language, and communication impairments.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and prioritizing a caseload of patients with highly complex speech, language, and communication impairments and swallowing difficulties.
  • Delivering goal-focused, intensive multidisciplinary therapy in a person-centered, meaningful way.
  • Further developing your skills and knowledge working with clients who have complex cognitive-communication, language, and speech disorders following brain injury, both 1:1 and in small therapy groups.
  • Supporting patients to return to work or study, and developing your specialist clinical skills across the spectrum of brain injury presentations.

Person Specification

We are looking for a qualified Speech and Language Therapist with:

  • HCPC registration
  • Previous experience working within neurorehabilitation
