Key Responsibilities- Perform Routine Analytical Testing: Conduct routine analytical testing to monitor compliance criteria and ensure the quality of our activated carbon products.
- Execute Systematic Analysis: Systematically analyze products, processes, and raw materials to identify areas for improvement and optimize our manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with the Laboratory Analysis Team: Work collaboratively with the laboratory analysis team to ensure seamless communication and efficient testing processes.
- Ensure Accurate Recording and Maintenance of Quality Records: Accurately record and maintain quality records and results, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide Reliable Analysis: Provide reliable, efficient analysis to support product quality control and timely dispatch.
- Report Analysis Exceptions: Report analysis exceptions to the Laboratory Manager or relevant authority, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing downtime.
- Support Cross-Functional Teams: Support Safety, Health, and Environment, Process Engineering, Operations teams, and other departments as needed, ensuring a collaborative and cohesive work environment.
- Ensure Food Safety Compliance: Be aware of and notify any issues related to Food Safety (HACCP/Kosher/Halal), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Undertake Additional Duties: Undertake other duties as required by the Laboratory Manager, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop Understanding of Applicational and Commercial Criteria: Develop an understanding of the applicational and commercial criteria for product success, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and Norit policies, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Science or Equivalent Experience: Hold a B.Sc. degree in Science or equivalent experience in a production laboratory.
- Demonstrable Experience in Laboratory Analysis: Demonstrate experience in laboratory analysis, with a strong understanding of analytical testing principles and procedures.
- Strong Experimental Skills: Possess strong experimental skills in activated carbon testing or similar chemical environments.
