About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of patients with stroke, neurological conditions, dementia, and other acquired communication/swallowing disorders.
- Assess, diagnose, plan, and deliver treatment programs to patients in their care, using evidence-based treatments.
- Promote independence, function, and integration within the community using a multi-disciplinary approach.
- Be responsible for own caseload in the clinical setting, including patients with complex needs, working without direct supervision.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy.
- HCPC Registration.
Experience
- Postgraduate dysphagia training.
- Experience working in a community setting.
- Previous experience within stroke and neurology assessment/rehabilitation.
- Valid UK driver's license and access to a vehicle.
