About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a SEN teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, adapting to their unique needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring that students with SEN are fully included in the learning process.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an SEN teaching assistant or in a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN support programs and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
