Job Title: Graduate Junior Foodservice Designer

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Graduate Junior Foodservice Designer to join our expanding design team at Chr Equipment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our Design and Project Directors with the production of project deliverables and technical design information that ensures the smooth delivery and running of projects.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or experienced designer to hone and develop their technical design skills in a collaborative and supportive team environment. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of prestigious hospitality projects across various sectors, including Michelin-starred restaurants, stadia, and education sectors.

As a Graduate Junior Foodservice Designer, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the design and project directors with the production of project deliverables and technical design information.
  • Working closely with architects, interior designers, and MEP consultants to ensure projects are properly detailed and specified.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
  • Visiting construction sites and manufacturing facilities to gain a deeper understanding of the design and installation process.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good understanding of food and beverage operations and how kitchens and restaurants work.
  • Knowledge of the catering equipment market and familiarity with a wide range of manufacturers.
  • An understanding of MEP associated with commercial kitchens.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a composed and organized manner.
  • Excellent Revit skills and a creative eye for design.
