About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer - Fixing Systems to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing fixing systems for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop fixing systems for structural engineering projects
  • Respond to engineering enquiries from clients and contractors
  • Carry out structural analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Produce BIM models and CAD drawings for client projects
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business

Requirements:

  • Structural Engineering degree level qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience with CAD and BIM modeling software
  • Strong understanding of construction industry standards and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
