Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer

Kingston Barnes Ltd is seeking a skilled Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer to join their team in Bristol. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial settings.

About the Role

This is a full-time on-site position located in and around Bristol, requiring experience in both commercial and domestic areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that systems are operating efficiently and to the highest standards, while adhering to legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial settings.
  • Carrying out safety checks to ensure systems are operating efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Working on natural gas, LPG, and oil boiler systems.
  • Forming part of a strong 7-man engineer team, with a focus on self-sufficiency and time management.
Requirements
  • Qualified in commercial and domestic natural gas, LPG, and oil.
  • Certification in additional fields, such as air conditioning.
  • Current CSCS card.
  • DBS check dated within 3 years, or willingness to undergo a DBS check.
  • Full valid UK driver's licence.
  • Fitness and health to carry out a wide range of physical activities.
What We Offer

Annual salary between £35,000-£45,000, plus overtime, standby allowance, option to join NEST pension scheme, sick pay, up-skill training, company van and PPE, and iPhone/iPad.
