About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Nurse to join our team at Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) Abingdon. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent clinical services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the standard and cleanliness of the surgery and accommodation for which you are responsible, reporting any deficiencies and following all local policies and protocols.
  • Provide clinical and administrative support for the provision of dental care in DPHC dental centres, enhancing force generation and operational capability and minimising dental morbidity on operations.
  • Participate in the regional on-call rota for out-of-hours dental emergencies, which may involve travelling to dental centres within the region.

Requirements

  • National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN) Certificate or NVQ in Oral Health Care Dental Nursing Level 3.
  • Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
  • Full United Kingdom driving licence (desirable).
