Electrical Technician for Flooding Improvement Process

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join our specialist team responsible for maintaining FLIP devices throughout the Thames Water region.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine planned preventative and reactive maintenance of Sewage drainage System Flip devices in restricted chambers.
- Perform electrical or mechanical installation work at properties and sites at which Flip devices are installed.
- Troubleshoot electrical mechanical fault finding.
- Report on the condition of Flip devices and identify spares and Bought in Service requirements.
- Provide specialist technical advice and training support for technical trainees.
- Liaise with external customers at properties at which Flip devices are installed.
- Demonstrate adherence to Health and Safety policies.
- Time-served apprentice with significant experience in electrical systems working in a "true multi-skilled" capacity.
- Previous experience in an electrical apprenticeship, ONC/HNC in engineering.
- Ideal qualifications include NVQ or C&G level 3 in mechanical engineering with an upskill qualification in mechanical NVQ2/3.
- Knowledge and awareness of health and safety issues are crucial.
- Physical fitness is required, as the work will involve working in restricted spaces.
- Competitive salary offering up to £39,000 per annum depending on experience.
