Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a key support figure, you will be working closely with students and teachers to ensure a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Class Teacher: Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons, providing tailored support to students with additional needs, including SEN.
- Behaviour Management: Help manage behaviour in line with the school's policies, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Resource Preparation: Assist in planning and preparing resources to support student learning, including lesson plans and educational materials.
- Student Progress: Work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents to support student progress, promoting social, emotional, and intellectual development.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience: Experience working in a secondary school setting (preferred).
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well in a team.
- DBS: An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
