Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
Observing, identifying, and reporting vehicle or component defects or signs of potential failure. Conducting thorough examinations of vehicles and providing verbal or written assessments regarding their condition, safety, reliability, and performance. Safeguarding all vehicles under repair from damage and inspecting each vehicle for cleanliness and damage upon repair completion. Participating in recognized training courses as required and assisting in the training of apprentices when assigned. Seeking authorization before installing parts on customer vehicles that have not been pre-approved and returning parts for warranty and customer inspection as necessary. Ensuring all service and maintenance records, customer defect reports, manufacturer documentation, and electronic records are fully completed and signed off.The work schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, with one Saturday morning shift every three weeks.

The successful applicant will possess:
A minimum Level 2 City and Guilds (or equivalent) qualification in Vehicle Repair. Experience in diagnostics and computer usage. A valid UK driving license. A proactive, quality-focused attitude. A strong team-oriented mindset. The ability to maintain high standards of work. Effective communication skills. A willingness to learn and grow professionally.
