Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Specialist. This role is pivotal in ensuring our organization adheres to the ever-evolving regulatory landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Compliance and various departments to perform thorough assessments of regulatory modifications.
  • Recognize and articulate regulatory updates, ensuring effective communication across the organization.
  • Generate and disseminate comprehensive summaries regarding key regulatory changes.
  • Keep executive leadership informed about regulatory trends and themes through regular updates and reports to relevant committees.
  • Guarantee that the organization is adequately represented in pertinent industry groups and working committees.
  • Facilitate the collection of internal feedback on draft regulations for submission to industry associations and regulatory bodies as necessary.
  • Lead a monthly Regulatory Impact Meeting to monitor and discuss recent regulatory developments with key personnel from various departments, including senior management, across all operational jurisdictions.
  • Participate actively in internal discussions focused on sustainability initiatives within the organization.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in a regulatory change role or similar capacity.
  • A minimum of three years of compliance experience within the UK asset management sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the investment management sector and financial services.
  • Expertise in investment products, change management strategies, and report generation.
  • Strong familiarity with UK and EU regulations pertinent to the asset management and buy-side sectors.
  • Experience with regulations and standards related to sustainability applicable to asset managers and publicly listed companies.
