About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team at a wonderful Primary School in Carmarthen. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with young children, supporting their learning and development in a year 2 class.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in planning and delivering lessons to meet the needs of the children
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of a safe and healthy learning environment
  • Help to promote the children's social, emotional, and physical development
  • Communicate effectively with the teacher, children, and parents to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
