Position Overview
We are collaborating with a prominent educational institution seeking to appoint a dedicated Film and Media Studies Teacher. This role is full-time and aims to attract an exceptional individual to contribute to the school's development journey.

Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
  • Demonstrate a passion for Film and Media, ensuring students receive the highest quality educational experience.
  • Play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the subject, leading training initiatives, and enhancing pedagogical practices.
  • Deliver engaging and ambitious lessons that foster growth and learning among colleagues.
  • Provide outstanding teaching that meets diverse student needs.
  • Support the school in elevating teaching standards and monitoring progress towards set objectives.
  • Offer specialized subject expertise to assist departmental staff as needed.
  • Contribute to the implementation of school-wide policies and initiatives.
  • Facilitate professional development workshops as required.

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A recognized teaching qualification.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven excellence in teaching practice.
  • Strong behavior management skills.
  • Experience in conducting lesson observations and providing constructive feedback.
  • Experience in improvement planning and implementing strategies to enhance student achievement.
  • A track record of delivering excellent results at KS3/4.
  • Experience in effective pupil tracking and feedback practices.
