We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified nurses who are eager to develop their skills in a specialized ward focusing on geriatric care, particularly for patients with hip fractures. Comprehensive orientation and mentorship will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into your new role. You will enhance your expertise in caring for elderly patients who have experienced fractures, as well as those with cognitive challenges.
We prioritize the professional growth of our Registered General Nurses (RGNs) and offer extensive training and development opportunities. Flexibility in working hours is essential, as the role requires participation in a rotating schedule that includes nights and weekends. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
Strong communication abilities, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality nursing care are essential attributes for this role.

Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role include providing and maintaining a high standard of evidence-based, patient-centered care. You will demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and develop the practical competencies necessary for the specialty, while embodying the philosophy of delivering patient care consistently. This involves utilizing established systems within the department to facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to care delivery, which emphasizes the involvement of patients and their families in the care process.
Experienced Band 5 nurses will also be expected to offer clinical and managerial guidance in the absence of senior team members, empowering colleagues to provide patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care.
