AV Project Manager Job Description

My client, a market leader in the audio-visual space, is seeking an experienced AV Project Manager to join their team. As a key member of the operations department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects to clients while ensuring excellent customer service and protecting margins.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in the audio-visual industry. You will be responsible for managing projects with a support team, ensuring service contract standards and SLA are met, and managing margins and budgets. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring quality of equipment, cables, quotes, and engineers adhere to company standards.

The successful candidate will be a leader who can motivate and develop their team, while maintaining high standards and delivering results. If you are passionate about developing your team and have a strong background in project management, this could be the ideal role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects with a support team to a high standard
  • Ensure service contract standards and SLA are met
  • Manage margins and budgets
  • Ensure quality of equipment, cables, quotes, and engineers adhere to company standards
  • Deliver the technical specification of all jobs, cables schedules, and drawings where required
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance and training are kept up to date

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
