Woodrow Mercer Healthcare Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Designated Nurse for Safeguarding Children and Young People to provide leadership and expert advice on safeguarding children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the effective implementation of the local Safeguarding Children Board Interagency Child Protection Procedures.
- Provide expert advice and support to staff on safeguarding children and young people.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including the local Safeguarding Children Board and other healthcare organizations.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to safeguarding children and young people.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safeguarding practices and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid nursing registration.
- Proven experience in safeguarding children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
