About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational support to young people with Special Education Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEN and SEND, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individualized learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide holistic and engaging sessions that promote academic progress, social-emotional growth, and overall well-being.
  • Conduct regular progress assessments and provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEN, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
  • You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online assignments
