Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader, your primary role will be to ensure the seamless operation of our production processes. You will be responsible for minimizing downtime through effective troubleshooting and maintenance of all electrical and mechanical equipment. Your expertise will be required on a variety of systems, including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems. A strong electrical background is essential, and daily commuting to the site will be necessary.

Shift Pattern:
You will work a Continental 4 on 4 off shift pattern, covering both day and night shifts.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong electrical engineering skills with mechanical experience.
  • Apprentice trained Engineer to NVQ Level 3 standard in an Engineering discipline preferred.
  • JIB 18th edition qualified.
  • Experience in executing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and contributing to process improvements.
  • Proficient in PLC fault finding and diagnostics (programming experience is a plus).
  • Ability to support feasibility studies and contribute to CAPEX & CI projects.
  • Team-oriented with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of current environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Capable of analyzing maintenance issues to provide accurate recommendations.
  • Computer literate with strong communication skills.
