About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Engineer to join our client's engineering team in the Kent area. As a Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for attending breakdowns, servicing, and installations of industrial cleaning equipment within a 1-hour radius of your area.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Attend breakdowns, service, and installations on industrial cleaning equipment
  2. Use manual hand tools, electrical hand tools, lifting equipment, and hot working tools to carry out repairs
  3. Carry out electrical, electronic, and mechanical fault finding and repairs on industrial cleaning equipment and IG Engines
  4. Manage time effectively to ensure work is carried out to a high standard in a timely manner
  5. Update job reports and order parts when necessary
  6. Ensure Health & Safety Procedures are followed

Requirements:

  1. Electrical, electrical, and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and service experience is advantageous
  2. A good level of electrical or mechanical knowledge is required
  3. Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering, are desirable
  4. Experience using electrical and mechanical tools is essential
  5. Previous experience as a mechanical, electrical, or field-based engineer is required
  6. A full UK Driver's License is necessary
