We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at a leading recycling and waste management company. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the site's equipment and ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform reactive and planned maintenance work on mechanical equipment, including monitoring records, oiling, and cleaning.
- Replace like-for-like mechanical components and work on shredders, sheers, mobile plant equipment, and other specialized machinery.
- Conduct regular maintenance work in accordance with a planned schedule and work alongside a team to achieve this goal.
- Work on sealers, valves, pumps, bearings, belts, conveyors, mechanical installations, and hydraulic equipment.
- A recognized engineering qualification.
- The ability to work as part of a team and take responsibility when needed.
- A willingness to work in a heavy background and get hands dirty.
- A salary of between £41,600 - £46,800 DoE.
- A pension contribution.
