Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Parts Advisor to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of parts to our workshops across England and Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Workshop team to coordinate the ordering and delivery of parts.
  • Manage the receipt and storage of parts, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
  • Conduct daily checks to ensure timely part arrivals and proactively communicate with suppliers for any delays.
  • Analysis of fast and slow-moving stock to discuss with the Head of Fleet Maintenance.
  • On occasion, you may be required to collect emergency parts using the workshop van.
  • Ensure the parts department is compliant with Health and Safety requirements.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience of dealing with suppliers and customers.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical components, either car or HGV.
  • Knowledge of Freeway system would be desirable.
  • Previous experience of database management.
  • Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • MS packages to include, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
