Job Overview

Job Title: HGV Class 2 Multidrop Driver

Location: Yeovil, Somerset

Employment Type: Permanent Contract

Working Hours: 4 on 2 off rota, starts (possible earlier starts available)

Salary: £32,366 pa, OT at £22.23ph paid after 42hrs worked per week, achievable £3k per year bonus

MDE Consultants Ltd is seeking HGV Class 2 Multidrop Drivers to join our team based in the Yeovil area.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Class 2 multidrop delivery and collections
  • Handball of bags or cages
  • 4-8 drops/collections per day
  • Some routes will be distance with fewer drops
  • 4 on 2 off rota

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of tacho use and working time
  • Daily vehicle checks ensuring any issues are reported immediately.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Good manual handling experience and be prepared for the manual aspect of the role.
  • Applicants will be subject to D&A testing as part of recruitment.
  • Applicants must be within a 45 min drive of the depot

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • UK HGV Class 2 licence with a good amount of HGV Experience
  • Max 6 points with no major endorsements (DD/DG/DR/IN/TT/CD/UT)
  • Valid Tacho
  • Valid CPC
