Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team at Aspion. As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings and specifications from customers into SolidWorks, developing detailed 3D models using SolidWorks, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure design accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications from customers into SolidWorks.
  • Develop detailed 3D models using SolidWorks.
  • Program machines on the shop floor for tube processing.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure design accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any design-related issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CAD Technician.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks.
  • Experience in the metals industry preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in Excel.
