Job Title: Out of School Club Playleader

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Playleader to join our team at Wellfield Infant and Nursery School. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of play activities for children aged 3 to 11 years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver play activities that promote social, emotional, and physical development in children
  • Support and supervise children in the club, including those with special educational needs
  • Work in partnership with the club manager and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the club
  • Maintain good relationships with parents and carers
Requirements:
  • Level 2 NVQ in Playwork or Childcare or other relevant qualification
  • Sound understanding of safeguarding children
  • Experience of working with children aged 3 to 11 years and planning recreational activities
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliability and good timekeeping
  • Paediatric First Aid Certificate and Food Hygiene Certificate
