Finance Manager Opportunity

A leading professional service company, Agility Resourcing, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their Senior Management Team.

This is a highly commercially driven business offering financial advice to a wide range of businesses. As Finance Manager, you will need to have a confident communication style and be able to provide timely and accurate updates and guidance to the firm's partners on financial matters.

The Finance Manager role is an integral part of the organisation and will ensure complete running and oversight of the finance department. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Producing timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with insight, KPIs, and variance analysis against budget and forecast.
  2. Leading the creation of the annual budget and periodic cost-benefit modelling exercises.
  3. Managing the day-to-day operation of the finance department.
  4. Advising on financial governance matters and assisting the senior leadership team to carry out appropriate checks as required.
  5. Forecasting cash receipts and reporting actual cash performance to identify trends.
  6. Leading the credit control function and giving regular updates on the firm's cash position.
  7. Utilising experience of process improvement to make processes more efficient and automated, making use of the company case management system and financial system.

The successful Finance Manager will ideally be ACCA / CIMA Qualified, although Qualified by Experience candidates will be considered. Experience in managing reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes will be required along with excellent presentation skills.
