Role Overview
As a Silicon Processing Technician, you will engage in a variety of tasks related to the processing and management of silicon wafers within a semiconductor manufacturing setting. Your responsibilities will include operating specialized equipment and adhering to established protocols to ensure the precise and effective production of silicon components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain silicon wafer processing equipment, including cleaning, etching, and measuring.
- Safely handle and transport silicon wafers, following proper procedures.
- Perform visual inspections and quality control assessments to meet specifications.
- Adhere to established operating procedures and work instructions.
- Collaborate with team members and engineers to resolve issues and enhance process efficiency.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with safety guidelines.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in silicon wafer processing.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
