Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced LGV driver to join our team at L&S Waste Management. As a Class 2/1 LGV driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering waste and materials to various sites, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and deliver waste and materials to designated sites, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Operate a range of vehicles, including skip, roll-on/off, grab, tipper, volumetric concrete trucks, and caged vans.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring prompt and courteous interactions with customers and site personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections, using a PDA to track and manage routes.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2/1 LGV driver's license and full Driver CPC.
  • Proven experience in LGV driving, with a strong understanding of driver's hours and WTD regulations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to use a PDA and other technology to manage routes and track deliveries.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts and respond to changing circumstances.
