Job Description

**Electrical Engineer Role Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Swift Temps Ltd. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and products for our clients in various industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new electrical products and systems, ensuring they meet customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Develop enhancements to existing product ranges, improving performance and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support to other departments, addressing technical issues and providing solutions.
  • Offer technical support to customers, including site visits and product testing.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, including 3D CAD models, 2D CAD drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure products meet mandatory legislation and customer-specific legislation.
  • Test products, collecting results and analyzing data, and creating test reports.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in electrical engineering or technical design roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software, such as PCB design software.
  • Experience with PLC/Logic Relay Programming and control philosophies.
  • Experience with Control Systems/Panel Design.
  • Good CAD background, with experience in Solidworks 2D/3D Modelling and AutoCAD 2D.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • A knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
