We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our team and help us build the core digital infrastructure for our energy company. As a Backend Engineer, you will work closely with our product team to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient backend systems that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality backend infrastructure using Python and Terraform/CloudFormation
  • Collaborate with the product team to define and build complex systems that meet customer needs
  • Develop messaging interfaces with third-party providers and build high-volume pipelines for processing customer energy consumption
  • Work on the backend of our world-class energy app
  • Take ownership of projects and drive change to meet business needs
Requirements
  • Demonstrable excellence as a Software Engineer with 2+ years of experience
  • Proven ability to define and build complex systems
  • Backend experience with Python and Terraform/CloudFormation
  • Hands-on experience operating highly-available production systems
