Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Engineering Teacher with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and a valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The ideal candidate will have experience in a UK secondary school or be a recent graduate. The successful candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of the national curriculum for Engineering.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and innovative Engineering lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and critical thinking in engineering concepts.
  • Utilize effective teaching methods to enhance students' practical and theoretical understanding of engineering.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Engineering curriculum.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Engineering education.


Requirements:

  • PGCE in Engineering Education.
  • Valid DBS check.
  • Ideally, experience working in a UK secondary school or set to graduate this year.
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum for Engineering.
