Position Summary:
As a Product Specification Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all product specifications and packaging designs adhere to legal, safety, and quality regulations.
Your role will encompass the complete specification lifecycle, which includes developing and maintaining precise product specifications, supervising the technical approval process for packaging and artwork, and working closely with various teams to ensure timely product launches.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Develop and verify comprehensive product specifications.
2. Oversee the entire specification approval workflow.
3. Ensure accuracy in packaging and artwork.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet essential launch timelines.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with food production processes.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of HACCP standards and allergen management.
Proven experience in managing customer-specific format specifications from start to finish (including major retailers) and in-house format specifications is essential.
