Employability Trainer

Based at St. Albans campus

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Employability Trainer to join our team at Oaklands College. As an Employability Trainer, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering a range of employability programmes to meet the needs of learners, employers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality employability programmes that meet the needs of learners and employers.
  • Deliver consistently good or better teaching sessions, incorporating effective learning strategies and technologies to achieve outstanding learning outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate data for learners, initial assessment records, enrolment, daily registers, and outcomes.
  • Prepare learners for employment, career progression, or further study, including the contextualisation of digital, maths, and English skills.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 qualifications in English & maths (GCSE, Functional Skills or equivalent).
  • Assessor (E) and IQA qualifications (D).
  • Level 3 teaching qualification (E).
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
