About the Role

Our team is passionate about sourcing and interpreting Geo-data to support safe, sustainable, and efficient asset design, construction, and operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, test, and maintain positioning equipment, survey tools, IT systems, and data acquisition systems.
  • Collaborate closely with the Workshop Supervisor and the Project Team to ensure that equipment is ready for onshore and offshore projects.
  • Perform testing, maintenance, and repair of a variety of equipment.
  • Keep detailed records of equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Assist with equipment mobilization on-site.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels of spare parts.
  • Provide support to offshore teams, Project Managers, and other Fugro departments.
  • Identify opportunities for improved performance through new technologies and cost-effective solutions.
Requirements
  • HNC/HND in Electronics or Computer Science.
  • Extensive experience in Electronics fault finding.
  • Proficiency in PC, network configuration, and software.
  • Prior exposure to marine survey environments.
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license.
  • Located within a commutable distance of the Aberdeen office.
