About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Care and Community Support Officer to join our team at BlueGreen Recruit. As a key member of our care team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently provided to our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake effective and efficient assessments of service users, including risk assessments and care planning.
  • Support the safe administration of medication and monitor service users' health needs.
  • Lead and manage a team of care professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring they are tailored to each service user's unique needs and preferences.
  • Contribute to the development of services, working closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a care setting.
  • Appropriate qualification in Health and Social Care (NVQ level 3 or above).
  • Significant knowledge and application of relevant legislation, including the Care Standards Act 2000 and Community Care Act 1991.
  • Ability to lead, manage, and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and monitor own work, as well as the work of others.
