Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

A leading engineering business in Norfolk is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing analogue and digital electrical circuit designs and solutions to support the development and life cycle of the systems range.

You will work closely with the Chief Engineer to develop designs and solutions, and will have the opportunity to work on new design projects and support existing products and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop analogue and digital electrical circuit designs and solutions.
  2. Work closely with the Chief Engineer to develop designs and solutions.
  3. Support the development and life cycle of the systems range.
  4. Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals.
  5. Develop and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements:

  1. Experience of circuit design, simulation, layout, testing, and evaluation for prototypes and production units.
  2. Ability to create interface and equipment specifications.
  3. Ability to create test specifications for designs, testing, and to support interdepartmental testing of equipment.
  4. Ability to support proposals by creating bid documents and compliance matrices.
  5. Willingness to travel and work offsite, both onshore and offshore.
  6. Ability to present technical information to audiences with all levels of technical experience.

Desirable:

  1. Knowledge of current CE regulations.
  2. Degree/HND in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering.
